RIKEN CEMS
Inspired by the structure and function of biomolecules such as DNA, peptides and other small molecules, various materials with unnatural function have been produced. For example, some supramolecular materials consisting of biomolecules are expected to be used in medical applications such as cancer treatment, gene therapy, and immunotherapy. In this topical meeting, we focus on the cutting edge bioengineerd materials as well as their applications, which hopefully facilitate constructive discussion for another emergence of new biomaterials.
