CEMS Symposium on
Trends in Condensed
Matter Physics

November 6-8, 2017
Saitama, Japan

Overview

The CEMS Symposium on Trends in Condensed Matter Physics will be held on November 6-8, 2017 at RIKEN Wako Campus near downtown Tokyo, Japan.
This is the 17th workshop since 1996, in a series held by JRCAT, AIST-CERC, ERATO, FIRST and RIKEN.

The aim of this symposium is to gather leading and active researchers and to provide a forum to share the latest information and ideas on condensed matter physics, and discuss future directions.

In particular, we focus on the following subjects:

  • Multiferroics
  • Photovoltaic phenomena
  • Topological matters
  • Topological spin textures
  • Superconductivity

This symposium is organized by RIKEN Center for Emergent Matter Science (CEMS).
