Title
Exotic and topological superconductivity generated from quantum geometry
Abstract
While the dispersion relation in the band structure is a fundamental property of electron systems in solids, the quantum geometry in the band structure is also essential for quantum materials [1]. In particular, the real part of the quantum geometric tensor, namely the Fubini-Study quantum metric, has recently attracted attention, while the imaginary part is well known as the Berry curvature.
I will discuss our recent studies on exotic superconductivity and topological superconductivity by utilizing the quantum geometry in superconductors. Spin-triplet superconductivity and ferromagnetism induced by quantum geometry [2], topological superconductivity arising from quantum geometric pair potentials [3], and utilization of nonlinear optical responses for detecting topological superconductivity [4] are discussed. Quantum geometric enhancement of high-Tc superconductivity in monolayer FeSe is also discussed [5].
