Spin-based Quantum Information with Quantum Dots


Manipulation and detection of single spins is the core of spin-based quantum information processing. We use semiconductor quantum dots to electrically address single electron spins. I will review the progress of our research on quantum computing with spin-1/2 electrons and quantum information transfer between quantum systems: implementation of spin qubits and spin entanglement control for quantum computing and single electron transfer between distant quantum dots and projection from single photons to single spins for information transfer.
