量子電気標準とその応用

講演概要

This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of the principles and current state of quantum electrical standards within the broader framework of measurement science. The fundamental concepts of metrology will first be introduced, with particular emphasis on the realization and dissemination of measurement standards for the kilogram, temperature, and electric current. The implementation of quantum electrical standards will then be examined in detail, focusing on quantum resistance, voltage, and current standards, which are established based on the quantum Hall effect, the Josephson effect, and single-electron tunneling, respectively.

The industrial applications of electrical standards will also be explored, with an emphasis on the development and deployment of highly stable resistors and precision multimeters with improved traceability.

Additionally, the recently established Global Research and Development Center for Business by Quantum-AI Technology (G-QuAT) at AIST will be introduced, and an overview of its evaluation facilities for quantum hardware components will be provided. Special attention will be given to low-temperature measurement methodologies for components such as cryogenic cables, as well as their integration into quantum computing technologies. These advancements will also be analyzed from a supply chain perspective, highlighting their potential impact on the broader technological ecosystem.
