新奇超伝導体に関する中性子研究

講演概要

By using various neutron diffraction/scattering techniques, I have been studying several strongly correlated electron systems. Among the techniques, small angle neutron scattering (SANS) is a useful tool to investigate superconducting state by imaging vortex lattice (VL). (Because the VL state is much affected by underlying superconducting properties of host crystal and so SANS results can give information on the superconducting gap structure, the pairing state etc.)

So far, we performed the SANS experiments on several superconductors, including ErNi2B2C, YNi2B2C, CeCoIn5, KFe2As2, BaFe2(As,P)2, Sr2RuO4. For example, in ErNi2B2C, we explored a possibility of spontaneous vortex state and in CeCoIn5 we studied an effect of strong Pauli paramagnetism on its superconductivity. In this colloquium, I would like to show some data that prove the power of SANS technique to study superconductors and introduce our new projects on PdBi2, LaNiC2 and skyrmion dynamics.
